Yes. Tandem skydiving has an extremely strong safety record. Global statistics show roughly one fatality per million tandem descents in normal years, and British Skydiving reported zero tandem fatalities across ~753,000 tandem jumps from 2000–2019. You jump attached to a certified instructor, with a reserve parachute and automatic activation device.

No experience is needed. Tandem skydiving is designed for first-timers. Your instructor handles the parachute, freefall position, and landing. You just enjoy the ride.

Minimum age is 18. There is no maximum age as long as you are in good health. Weight must be between 40 kg and 95 kg, and you must be able to lift your legs for landing. These limits may be reduced in certain weather conditions.

Plan for 2–3 hours total. This includes check-in, paperwork, the safety briefing, gearing up, the 20-minute scenic flight to altitude, up to 30 seconds of freefall, a 5-minute canopy ride, and landing. Weather and air traffic can occasionally add a little time.

Yes, eat a light meal beforehand and stay hydrated. Avoid heavy meals and alcohol for at least 8 hours before your jump. A small breakfast or snack is fine and can actually help if you're nervous.

Safety is our priority. If wind, rain, or low cloud makes jumping unsafe, we will reschedule you to the next available slot—usually the same day or the next day—at no extra cost. We recommend booking your jump early in your Mauritius stay to allow flexibility.
