What to Wear Skydiving in Mauritius
One of the most common questions we get is: "What should I wear?" The answer is simpler than you think.
Clothing
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. A t-shirt and shorts or light trousers work well in Mauritius's warm climate. We will put a jumpsuit over your clothes, so avoid anything too bulky.
Shoes
Secure lace-up shoes are essential. Running shoes or trainers are perfect. We do not allow sandals, flip-flops, high heels, or loose footwear. If you forget suitable shoes, let us know and we may be able to lend you a pair.
Glasses and Contacts
Both are fine. We provide goggles that fit over glasses and protect contact lenses from the wind. Just tell your instructor before gearing up.
Jewellery and Accessories
Remove necklaces, large earrings, and loose bracelets before the jump. Watches and phones cannot be taken in the plane. We recommend leaving valuables in your car or hotel safe.
Hair
Long hair should be tied back tightly. Once you are under canopy and the wind drops, you will be glad it is not a tangled mess.
Quick checklist
- Comfortable clothes
- Lace-up shoes
- Glasses/contacts are OK
- No loose jewellery
- Tie back long hair
