Best Time to Skydive in Mauritius — Season-by-Season Guide
Mauritius has great skydiving weather year-round, but some months are more reliable than others. Here is what to expect through the seasons.
Best Months: May, June, September, October
These months sit in or just outside the cooler, drier winter season. Rainfall is low, temperatures are comfortable (20–26°C), and winds are usually manageable. October is statistically the driest month of the year.
Caution Months: July and August
Winter anticyclones can bring strong winds, with gusts over 90 km/h in exposed areas. We still jump when conditions allow, but cancellations are more common. Book with flexibility.
Avoid if Possible: January–March
This is the hot, humid, rainy summer season. February and March are the wettest months, and tropical cyclones can disrupt operations. If you are visiting during this period, book early in your stay in case we need to reschedule.
Our Recommendation
If your trip is specifically planned around skydiving, aim for May, June, September, or October. But remember: we only jump when conditions are safe on the day. Booking early in your holiday gives you the best chance to reschedule if needed.
